Grace Marie Junek graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology with degrees in both design and buying. She proceeded her education studying art and design at the PoliModa School of Design in Florence, Italy. She entered the apparel industry as an assistant designer for Nino Cerruti active wear. Within months she was promoted to Designer and her responsibilities included developing ideas for a variety of sport activities. Her career continued as Head Designer with Starter Corporation. She and her team successfully created premium designs for athletes and sport fans alike. Grace moved on to join the design team at Reebok International Ltd., where she succeeded in creating unique concepts and designs for diverse markets. Dezine Vision has given her the opportunity to expand into other areas of design. Her experience in sports apparel has allowed her to "study the relationship between the body and its motions in conjunction with functional design". A principal she integrates in all her design endeavors. Grace enjoys a multitude of outdoor activities. She practices yoga, meditation and dance. Her multi-lingual up bringing has resulted in extensive travel and a desire to experience different cultures and their contributions to art and apparel trends.
